Hollywood touches down in Boston again with R.I.P.D film shoot

Hollywood has touched down in the Boston area this month with the shooting of the new film R.I.P.D in Charlestown. This is the second big movie in Charlestown since The Town with Ben Affleck.

R.I.P.D stars Kevin Bacon, Ryan Reynolds, and “the dude” himself Jeff Bridges have been spotted shooting scenes near Pleasant street  in the town. This is a description of the movie from IMBD:

“A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him. Based on the comic by Peter M. Lenkov.”

The movie will also see an appearance from the very lovely Marissa Miller according to its IMBD page as well. This makes the film worth seeing for sure.

The film is being directed by Robert Schwentke who is a German director who is also known for the movie Red and The Time Travelers Wife.

As you can see from the photo below the film will also feature some car chase scenes with a very bad ass Dodge Challenger SRT8. There are multiple Dodges on set and Ryan Reynolds has been seen mashing the gas in the horsepower happy Dodge.
